SleepDoctor is a digital-first sleep clinic. We started by solving the sleep apnea syndrome which concerns over 1 billion people globally. Launched in 2021 in Paris, France, SleepDoctor has an engineering office in Yerevan, Armenia. In 2022 we got into HEC Incubator at Station F and raised a pre-seed round investment.
The founders have previously built several successful startups (Wakie, Cellprothera, Biofuture), raised $50M+ venture investments and graduated from Y Combinator.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for our first QA Engineer who is ready to deliver high-quality products starting with our new web application. Our ideal candidate is passionate about establishing quality assurance standards from the ground up and is comfortable working in a small development team. They are skilled in both manual and automation testing and want to constantly polish their skills. They are also ready to hire and manage the QA team in the upcoming future.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and maintain test plans for our product offerings
Manually test release candidates to ensure all releases are production-ready and free of bugs, copy errors, or other quirks that impact the user experience
Write unit and integration tests for our backend and frontend applications, using various testing frameworks (Cypress, Enzyme or Testing Library, etc.)
Assist Product and Engineering teams with release and change management
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
3+ years quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in working with automation tools such as Cypress, etc.
Experience in working with NodeJS and ReactJS applications
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken

Fully own and independently drive the engineering development of complex features

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
3+ years of combined back and front end experience building fast, reliable, web and/or mobile applications (preferably with JavaScript backends)
Experience with Web frameworks (preferably with ReactJS)
Experience with source control management systems, preferably GitExperience with AWS
B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
Strong communication skills in English: both written and spoken
Experience with AWS, cloud deployments, DevOps, and web security is a plus
